RDA Hunter invites Year 5-6 Primary School educators to register for the Google Teacher Professional Development sessions that will focus on the interaction between computers and the physical world (using sensors, actuators, data collection and data analysis).

The Professional Development Project aims to increase educator’s knowledge of micro:bit hardware through a series of instructional videos and learning resources that can be implemented within the classroom.

Teachers will receive:

  • A micro:bit kit and some associated hardware
  • Access to 3 x instructional videos
  • Accompanying teacher resources
  • Access to a 1-hour, 1:1 session with RDA Hunter STEM Consultant

These instructional videos will allow teachers time to experiment and build confidence in what is possible in their classroom. Online resources will be provided linking classroom activities, curriculum, equipment selection and operation and troubleshooting.
